E-Safety
🌐 Staying Safe Online at Our Lady of the Rosary
E-Safety (short for electronic safety or online safety) refers to protecting people when they use the internet and digital technologies — such as computers, smartphones, and social media — from online risks and harm.
At Our Lady of the Rosary, we know that the internet is an amazing place to learn, create, and have fun! Whether you are researching a topic for homework or playing games, being online opens up a world of exciting opportunities.
But just like in the real world, it is important to know how to stay safe and make good choices online. That’s why we teach all our pupils about e-Safety — how to use the internet responsibly, kindly, and confidently.
Our goal is to help every child become a smart digital citizen who knows how to:
-
Keep personal information private
 -
Think before sharing or posting
 -
Be respectful and kind online
 -
Spot and report anything that does not feel right

We work together with teachers, parents, and carers to make sure everyone understands how to stay safe in our digital world. Through fun lessons, assemblies, and activities, we help our pupils build the skills they need to explore the internet safely — today and in the future.
