Our Extra-Curricular Provision

At Our Lady of the Rosary, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our extra-curricular provision gives children the chance to discover new interests, develop their talents, and grow in confidence. The activities offered throughout the year reflect the vibrant life of our school, providing opportunities for physical activity, creativity, teamwork, leadership, and personal development.

Children are encouraged to explore a wide range of experiences, whether they enjoy being active, performing, creating, problem-solving, or working as part of a team. Our staff and visiting coaches bring enthusiasm and expertise, helping pupils build new skills while celebrating effort, enjoyment, and commitment.

We offer a rich and varied programme that evolves each term so that every child can find something they love. Many sessions are open to all year groups, while some are tailored to specific ages to ensure that children take part in activities that are appropriately challenging and engaging. Clubs take place before school, during lunchtime, and after school, giving families flexibility and ensuring that as many children as possible can participate.

Extra-curricular life at Our Lady of the Rosary is an important part of who we are. It helps our pupils develop resilience, practise teamwork, express themselves creatively, stay active, and build friendships across the school. We are proud of the commitment our children show and delighted to offer experiences that enrich their primary years and help them flourish.
