Year 2

Welcome to our Year 2 page! This year marks the final stage of Key Stage 1, and it is a time when children really begin to flourish as independent learners. This is a special year in which children continue to grow in both knowledge and faith. Our Year 2 curriculum builds confidence and deepens understanding across all subjects, with a strong focus on developing reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Children are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and take pride in their achievements as they prepare for the exciting transition into Key Stage 2.
